Terri Schiavo has not murdered anyone. She is a patient who happens to need a feeding tube to help her maintain her health. There are many people (some of them famous) who thrive on feeding tubes without it hindering their career. A feeding tube is no more unusual than a baby bottle .. both are used to help a human being receive nourishment. Then why would anyone want to execute someone dependant on such an ordinary device? Though
this was originally written as my Easter message in 2005, I think it
contains a strong Biblical message why we must never refuse food and water
to a human being - or any creature God has created ~ it is a message not
just for Easter, but for every time, anyone thinks that starving another
human being can be justified.
Schiavo poll
a new Zogby poll with fairer questions shows the nation clearly
supporting Terri and her parents and wanting to protect the lives of other
disabled patients.
The fact is Terri is so healthy the only way to
end her life is to refuse her food and water
