CHN is a not for profit organization.
CHN consists of both professional and lay people who CARE about
the crisis medicine and healthcare is experiencing, and promote 'Aid in
Living'.
CHN opposes euthanasia by actively defending the inherent value
of all human life.
CHN's work is international, and comprises of a network of people who provide speakers and workshops and online research data pertaining to euthanasia, assisted suicide, disability and palliative care.
CHN Has researched and compiled much more information that is not yet available on our web. Consider subscribing to CHN's free E-Alert to receive frequent updates. If you need specific information, or an article, journal or report for your research, please drop us a line and we will do our best to e-mail it to you ASAP We welcome requests from students of all levels, and media. We answer all inquiries from our readers.
The Compassionate Healthcare Network is an Associated member of
the World Federation of Doctors Who Respect Human Life, (WFDWRHL) that groups more than
350,000 physicians in 70 countries of the world. Head Office is in
Rotterdam, Netherlands, Dr. Karel Gunning President
CHN has established an international network with anti-euthanasia & disability activists.
Briefly, our Constitution states our purpose, in that we are to provide
educational services through all forms of media to all persons
regarding the inherent absolute value of all human life.
CHN's purpose
is to teach that all persons are made in the image of God and that we are
thereby morally prohibited from terminating the life of another person or
asking another person to terminate our life for us; however, death is a part
of life and therefore death is accepted when it occurs naturally.
We oppose
all efforts made in support of euthanasia and assisted suicide and promote
palliative care as an active alternative thereto.
We oppose all programs,
policies and perspectives which may threaten or weaken the physical existence
of any person who is sick, disabled, infirm, dying or otherwise medically at
risk.
CHN is a Christian society, and all of us hold to the Trinitarian belief and that Jesus Christ is God.
